Respiratory Therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals need to have knowledge of the latest best practice guidelines, patient management strategies, and other challenges they face, to enhance professional growth and their ability to provide quality patient care. Clinical practice guidelines change according to latest research and innovations in medicine. Healthcare professionals need to be aware of these changes in order to stay up to date with best practices. This conference offers the opportunity to learn the latest management of asthma, how to manage ICU delirium, strategies to mitigate the second victim phenomenon, and breath control strategies. Please note that the afternoon sessions of this conference on closed loop ventilation and pulse oximetry are NOT accredited for physician and nursing continuing education credits.

1. Discuss the latest pharmacological recommendations for the management of asthma, and help patients achieve better symptom control to minimize exacerbations.
2. Utilize the A to F bundle to decrease ICU delirium and improve patient outcomes.
3. Explain and recognize the second victim phenomenon in healthcare. Utilize strategies learned to mitigate its impact on healthcare professionals.
4. Utilize breath control strategies to improve focus and job performance.
5. Describe how closed loop ventilation can benefit patients on mechanical ventilation.
6. Recognize factors affecting the accuracy of pulse oximetry and institute methods to improve its performance.

Cancellation Policy:

To receive a refund of your registration fee, written notification of your request must be received by April 15, 2025. No refunds will be made after April 15, 2025.
